My name is Kyle Gambino, and horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up with family deeply rooted in the horse business, I began my riding journey at a young age, competing and training in the hunters, jumpers, and equitation. That early foundation sparked a passion that has only grown stronger over time.
"That early foundation sparked a passion that has only grown stronger over time."
After finishing college, I knew I wanted to dedicate myself fully to the sport — to learn more, do more, and push the boundaries of what was possible with horses. That pursuit led me to work alongside some of the most respected veterans in the industry. I had the privilege of working closely with Peter Leone for seven years, an experience that shaped me both as a trainer and as a horseman. Along the way, I also had the honor of riding and working alongside world-class riders such as Paul O'Shea and Ian Millar — opportunities that gave me invaluable insight into what it takes to compete at the highest level.
Most recently, I served as Head Trainer at Old Salem Farm, where I competed in the jumper ring and guided riders in the equitation ring. Through years of experience at every level of the sport, I have developed my own system and philosophy for producing horses and riders of all ages.
At the heart of my approach is a deep belief in the power of preparation and connection. When a horse and rider are truly prepared — mentally, physically, and emotionally — and when a genuine bond is built between them, the possibilities are endless.
